Received my UPM-Santander scholarship credential
I recently had the honor of attending the UPM-Santander Scholarship Credential Award Ceremony, where I finally received my predoctoral scholarship credential. Although I was granted the scholarship back in 2017, I hadn’t had the chance to get my credential until this event. This ceremony, held at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), was a significant milestone in my academic journey.
The ceremony was a grand affair, with over 270 scholarships awarded to students to promote research and international mobility. The event was presided over by notable figures such as the rector of UPM, Guillermo Cisneros, and the president of Santander Universidades, Matías Rodríguez Inciarte.
Receiving this scholarship is not just a personal achievement but also a testament to the collaborative efforts between UPM and Banco Santander. Their long-standing partnership aims to foster innovation, research, and global cooperation among students. As a recipient, I am excited about the opportunities this scholarship will provide, including a four-year predoctoral contract, coverage of my doctoral tuition fees, and a three-month research stay at a prestigious international institution.
This scholarship will undoubtedly play a crucial role in my doctoral studies, allowing me to focus on my research without financial worries. I am grateful for the support and look forward to contributing to the academic community through my work.
