Received a Special Mention of Honor in the initial training for university teaching by ICE
The Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) has awarded me a Special Mention of Honor in recognition of my outstanding effort, dedication, and exemplary performance in the initial training for university teaching provided by the Institute of Education Sciences (ICE).
During the event, diplomas for the completion of the initial course were handed out, which I received alongside my fellow trainees who were able to attend.
As the recipient of the Special Mention of Honor, I had the privilege of delivering a speech. In my speech, I expressed my gratitude to the ICE staff for their dedication and effort in organizing and conducting the initial training. I also acknowledged my fellow trainees and the bonds we formed during the course. I highlighted how this initial training has been incredibly positive, not only for the accredited hours (a recurring joke during the course) but also for the valuable knowledge gained and its practical application in our daily teaching activities. Finally, I mentioned how this initial training is perfectly complemented by the continuing education opportunities offered by the ICE.
